I’m a writer and editor, and a proud member and the president of the South Jersey Writers’ Group, at least until there is a coup to throw me out (or 2015, whichever comes first). Talented, caring group of people!
The South Jersey Writers’ Group published their first book in 2012, Tall Tales and Short Stories from South Jersey. It was a hoot, so much in fact that we did a Kickstarter Campaign and raised enough money for two more! Yippee. My lovely co-editor, Jessica Walsh, and I spent our whole summer reading and will probably spend most of the fall reading submissions too. I love the process though!
I’ve started a small publishing company, but it’s primary purpose is Legal Business Entity. Hence the name “Hypothetical Press.” I have tons of ideas, but unfortunately not a lot of money and not a lot of time. I will still prevail, I hope.
I have been a die-hard NaNoWriMo participant since 2004, and have 8 novels in various stages of completion and coherence to show for it. Finally buckling down and working on the one I wrote in 2009, which means that I write about one chapter every three months.
I might post some ideas or some story snippets I come up with here, although I started doing that on Tumblr and may just keep that up, since I really don’t know what else to do with Tumblr.
